Utilizing our core technologies, we are developing organic fine products that meet market needs such as polymerization catalysts for polymers, electronic materials, pharmaceutical intermediates, and

functional materials. We are focusing in particular on the development of new materials with

emphasis on functionality, and promoting a lineup that includes fluorinated surface modifiers, new

polymerization catalysts, and fluorinated gases as

substitutes for chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) or

hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs). If you have any

Features of Nanyo Complex

    Extensive Site Area
    With an area of approximately 3
    million square meters. The industrial
    complex is one of the largest in Japan among chemical manufacturers.

    Natural Harbor
    There are 23 piers within the complex, the biggest of which (11.5m deep) can accommodate large vessels up to
    50,000t. Tosoh imports raw fuel
    directly from Asia, Australia, Mexico,
    and other countries, and exports our
    products globally.

    Private Power Generation
    Facility
    Tosoh has one of the biggest in-house power generation capacities (thermal power plant) for a single company and a single industrial complex in Japan,
    supplying all the electricity required
    at our business sites. The steam
    generated during the power
    generation process is utilized as a
    heat source at our manufacturing
    plants. As of June 2020, our power
    production capacity was 776,000kw/h.
